Introducing West40's Behavioral Health Services program
WHAT IS BUILD?
BUILD focuses on substance use prevention, education, and intervention activities to foster resilience, protection, new skills, awareness, and connections for students and families while using a Trauma-Informed approach.
BUILD WILL ALSO:
Provide access to individual and group counseling Strengthen transition back to school for students who have struggled with substance use. Assist in referrals to treatment Partner in case-management and activities with schools Provide workshops and trainings for parents and school staff Become a bridge to community services and resources

Bridge - Becoming a bridge for students and families to connect with community services and resources.
Understanding - Promoting understanding through awareness and education on substance use and co-occurring disorders.
Intervention - Providing evidence-based intervention strategies, individual and group counseling, and behavioral health support.
Leadership - Strengthening leadership in schools by delivering substance use prevention services and supporting transitions for students.
Development - Assisting in the development of safe school environments through case management, workshops, and trainings for parents and staff.
