Class Title Spanish Language & Culture in Spain Summer 2010: Informational Meeting
Description
Teachers are raving about the experience about spending two weeks in Salamanca, Spain in early July. A second level has been added to accommodate those that would like to repeat the experience a second summer or spend extended time at the university. Attend an informational meeting to learn more about this unique opportunity to learn about the language and culture of Spain while spending two weeks in early July in an intensive Spanish course in Salamanca, Spain. Spend your mornings in a Spanish language and culture class and your afternoons and evenings immersed in the music, language and culture of Salamanca, Spain. The Universidad de Salamanca, founded in 1218, is the oldest university in Spain. Since 1929 the Universidad has been pioneering and researching the development of Spanish as a foreign language and teacher training courses for all language levels. Kathleen Priceman has been facilitating the blending of Spanish language accession and cultural experience for teachers in the Chicago area for many years. She is available to support your learning and assist as you plan your travel excursions. During summer 2009, this experience ran under $1,800 including room and board.
