Class Title Identifying and Adopting Strategies for Educating the Whole Child Grades Pre-K through 12
Description
This workshop teaches administrators to understand and apply the emerging call for educators, communities and policy makers to work together to fulfill a new compact for the education of the whole child. A school-wide focus on the whole child results in successful learners who are knowledgeable, emotionally and physically healthy, civic-minded, artistically engaged, prepared for economic self-sufficiency and ready for the world beyond formal schooling. Participants must complete the "Grade Your School and Community" Assessment at www.wholechildeducation.org, and bring their "Grade Report" to the workshop. Registration will be held from 8:00 - 8:25 a.m.; class begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. Credit cannot be issued for late arrivals or early departures. Administrators' Academy Approval #800 or CPD credit available.
